This statement relates to our privacy practices in connection with this website www.stauntonsonthegreen.ie (the “Site”).
We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other websites which are linked on the Site.

The Site is operated by Stauntons Operations Limited, 1 Spencer Dock, North Wall Quay, Dublin 1
(referred in this Privacy & Cookie Policy as “we” or “us”).

We fully respect your right to privacy, and will not collect any personal information about you on the Site
without your clear permission. Any personal information which you provide to us will be treated in a secure
and confidential manner in accordance with our obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 & 2003,
the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks And Services) (Privacy And Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 and all other Irish and European Union (with direct effect) laws and regulations relating to processing of personal data and privacy.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

The personal data we may collect includes:

(a) your first name, surname, email address, telephone number and address, provided by you voluntarily if you contact us through our “Contact Us” page on the Site; and

(b) your first name, surname, email address, telephone number and address and credit card information used at the time of booking, through our booking service provider which is required in order for us to administer and fulfil your booking. Failure to provide any of this information may result in us being unable to accept or fulfil your booking.

We do not collect any other personal data about you on this Site, apart from information which you volunteer (for example through the booking process, by e-mailing us or by using our online feedback form).

This personal data is used for the purpose of responding to your queries, administering your booking, internal record keeping and, depending on your preferences, sending you marketing communications on products and services that may be of interest to you and/or on our latest offers or otherwise marketing our products and services (including on social media platforms).

This personal data is processed by us as follows:

(a) where necessary for the purpose of taking steps at your request prior to making a booking and/or for completing and fulfilling your confirmed booking with us;

(b) on the basis of your consent when we send you direct marketing;

(c) complying with our legal obligations in managing records relating to bookings at our property; and

(d) for the purpose of our legitimate interests in ensuring the quality of your stay and that of other guests e.g. responding to any feedback or resolving any complaints or for the investigation of any fraud, and also for marketing purposes.

We do not disclose your personal data to any third parties, save as permitted by law in our engagement of any service providers or platform operators who are contractually bound to only process your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation and solely for the purposes set out above. We may also disclose your personal data where required pursuant to a legal obligation.

We will retain your personal data for a period of 7 years or so long as is required by applicable laws, whichever is longer.

Your personal data shall not be stored outside the European Economic Area except to the extent permitted by data protection legislation and will be subject to any applicable safeguards such as the use of model contractual clauses approved by the European Commission for the transfer of personal data outside the EEA. A copy of any such contract may be requested by contacting the email address set out at the end of this policy.

Glossary of technical terms used:

Web browser; the piece of software you use to read web pages. Examples are Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator and Opera.
