Q: Where exactly is Stauntons On The Green?
A: We are located in the heart of Dublin city on St Stephen’s Green, with a private entrance into the delightful Iveagh Gardens to the rear. Grafton Street, Dublin’s renowned pedestrianised shopping area and the St Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre are less than a 5-minute walk away.
Temple Bar and the Ha’penny Bridge are less than 20 minutes away by foot and Dublin’s historical and cultural attractions are also easily within walking distance. These include the National Concert Hall, National Art Gallery, National History Museum, National Library, Trinity College, St Patrick’s Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral.

Q: Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?
A: We do not have a car park; however, you can avail of concessionary parking rates nearby.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: If you do not arrive on the day of your booking, you will be charged the full amount for your first night’s stay.
If you have booked our ‘Stay Room Only – Prepay, Non-refundable & Non-changeable’ rates, we must impose a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay. If you have booked our ‘Flexible Stay Room Only’ you can cancel for free up to 48 hours prior to check-in. You’ll find our full Cancellation Policy here.
Q: What time is check out?
A: Check-out is 12 noon.
Q: Is a late check out possible?
A: Late check out is subject to availability. It may be possible to check-out later than 12 noon; however, there is a €25 charge to check out at 14:00. If you think you may need to check out late, you should let Reception know as soon as possible.
Q: What time is check in?
A: Check in is officially from 14:00. Earlier check-in is subject to room availability and a €20 charge. If it is not possible to check in earlier than 14:00, you can leave your luggage with our Front Office team at the reception area.

Q: What is the hotel’s credit card policy?
A: We require a credit card to make and secure a booking and accept Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and Diners credit cards.
If your booking is secured with a debit card, a cash deposit may be required.
Q: Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room? What do you offer?
A: Yes, we’re very happy to help if you want to make a kind gesture like this. For example, we can arrange for flowers or chocolates to await a guest’s arrival in their room.
Q: What type of room should I book for three adults?
A: If you wish to book for three adults, we recommend a Triple or Family Room. Our Triple Room comprises one double and one single bed. Our Family Room consists of one double bed and two single beds. If you have a specific room request, call us on +353 1 478 2300 or email info@stauntonsonthegreen.ie and we’ll be happy to help.
Q: Do you have cots for children?
A: Cots are available upon request, in most of our rooms, free of charge.
Q: Are pets permitted?
A: Only certified guide dogs are permitted.
Q: Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?
A: Unfortunately, the configuration of our 250-year old Georgian building prevents us from offering wheelchair-accessible rooms.
Q: Does the hotel provide international adaptors?
A: Our bedrooms are equipped with standard Ireland/UK plug sockets and international plug sockets.
Q: How old do I have to be to check in?
A: To check in, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or older.
Q: When booking online, how can I confirm I have a room reservation?
A: If you book a room through our website, you will be issued with a confirmation number. This will be emailed to the address you provide in your booking form.
Q: Do you offer hairdryers in your rooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with a hairdryer.
Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your rooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with bottled water, a kettle and tea/coffee for your use. Our Deluxe and Superior rooms include Nespresso machines.
Q: Do you provide irons and ironing boards?
A: Yes, we’ll be happy to provide an iron and an ironing board upon request.
Q: Is the hotel air-conditioned?
A: No, although our building is not air-conditioned, all our rooms are supplied with Dyson fans.
Q: Do your room rates include VAT?
A: Yes, our quoted room rates include VAT.
Q: Do you have connecting rooms?
A: No, we do not have connecting rooms. However, if you want to request adjacent rooms or have any other accommodation requests, call us on +353 1 478 2300 or email info@stauntonsonthegreen.ie and we’ll be happy to assist.
Q: Do you have Family Rooms?
A: Yes, we can offer a Family Room that consists of two double beds. To request a Family Room or have any other accommodation, please call us on +353 1 478 2300 or email info@stauntonsonthegreen.ie and we’ll be happy to assist.
Q: What time is breakfast served?
A: Breakfast is served in the ground floor dining room, Monday to Friday from 7am – 10am and from 8am -10am on weekends including bank holidays.
Q: Do you serve breakfast directly to rooms?
A: Breakfast is served in the dining room only, weekdays from 7am to 10am and on weekends and bank holidays from 8am to 10am.
Q: Is Internet access available?
A: Yes, free access is available to our high-speed Wi-Fi service.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: With our Flexible Stay Room and Only & Best Available Bed and Breakfast Rate, you need to tell us that you are cancelling by 14:00 GMT, 48 hours prior to your arrival date. Our Stay Room Only – Prepay, Non-refundable & Non-changeable Advanced Purchase rates are payable when you book and each reservation is non-transferable and non-refundable.

A: We serve breakfast in the hotel but we are located just minutes from a wide variety of excellent restaurants, cafes and bars. Our Reception team would be delighted to make recommendations or book a table for you.
